I'm Wishing On A Star...

And trying to believe.

That even though it's far,

It's almost December...

And, that means, it's the happiest month of the year!

MURR.

I've been kinda "blehh" all day...

Hopefully it's because I'm subconsciously getting rid of all the bad before December!

A few good things happened today though!

I got to talk to my favorite teacher ever! :)

Mr. DeVitis! :)

I had him my freshman year for Creative Writing.

Sophomore year for Journalism.

Junior year for Journalism and English.

and Senior year for Journalism again!

He helped me enhance my writing skills so much

& I he has influenced me to become such a great person.

ANYWAY:

I have a terrible instructor for my mandatory writing class this year...

She hasn't taught me anything...

And, I really don't think she's cut out for being a teacher.

It's coming down to the wire & I really need to pass these papers.

No one is passing any.

Just goes to show how awful my teacher is now.. (because I know I have skills..)

But yeah...

Mr. DeVitis is going to look over my paper & help me.

If I don't pass it after HE looks at... then, it's IMPOSSIBLE.

When I feel helpless and like giving up...

Something positive always shines a light to help me get through it.

This week is almost half over.

I can't wait until Thursday.

December is going to bring much joy.

'Cause You're There For Me Too...

It's coming to be that time of year again.

Thanksgiving.

We should really start counting our blessings.

Which, I think people should do more often than once a year...

This past year has been so crazy for me.

But, I'm thankful for every single one of the people I've been able to share it with.

I love my friends & family more than anything in the world.

And, as long as we're together, I know everything will be fine :)

This Thanksgiving is going to be the last Thanksgiving that my grandparents have at their house.

It's going to be so bittersweet.

They're going to be moving in next to my aunt & uncle.

I know I talk about how excited I am for Black Friday all the time... and how I don't really like Thanksgiving...

But, that doesn't mean I'm not thankful.

I just don't care about eating a bunch of food.

:P

But yeah.

Thanks family & friends.

I'm Not THAT Desperate...

I'm all caught up on

This season is the last season.

I'm actually really sad.

But, I mean...

There are only so many people to kill

& only so many ways to do so...

First, there's Teri Hatcher.

She plays the lovable Susan Delfino.

She's really awesome.

I feel kinda bad for her right now...

She was pushed over the edge...

She painted an angry picture of when she & her friends recently did...

& Let's just say it's giving away too much information.

Then, there's Felicity Huffman.

She plays Lynette Scavo. 

The hardworking mother of 5.

Who, most recently, has separated from her husband.

It's been super rough for her.

I feel really bad.

I feel like she & her husband (Tom) need to try & work things out still.

But whatevv.

Next, there's Marcia Cross.

She plays the perfectionist, Bree Van de Kamp.

She's basically done everything.

She's also a gun expert... which, I find pretty amusing.

Not to mention she's got the greatest wardrobe of all.

More argyle, sweaters, and cardigans than anyone could want!

& some fabb pearl necklaces to go right along with 'em!

But anyway, she was dating this cop...

And, he's totes onto she and her friends.

He's not dumb... he knows something's up...

And he's not resting until he finds out what it is...

He's also creeping her & following her places.

Not okay.

And obv. there's Eva Longoria.

She's plays the fun-loving, carefree, ex-model, Gabrielle Solis.

She's married to a wealthy man...

And has two daughters.. who are terrors...

Her husband (Carlos) is basically spiraling into alcoholism... No good.

And, her past is basically what brought on this whole mess.

Carols smacked her stepdad in the head with a candlestick at the end of last season.

He was trying to rape Gabby again (like he did when she was younger...)

And, Carlos was protecting her.

He didn't mean to kill him...

So, the friends all formulated a plan.

They buried the body in a chest in the woods.

A man decided he wanted to build condos there.

The police have been notified of a missing person...

They're all really scared now.

I seriously can't wait to find out what happens next!

Such a fantabulous show :P

If you don't watch it, I highly recommend it.

I mean, there is quite a bit of violence throughout most of the show...

But, I think it's all really interesting and, yes, entertaining.

Also, it sometimes actually scares me.

HAHAHAHA.

But yeah...

I'm totes home right now :)

I miss BG whenever I'm gone.

However, I did bring a lot of stuff home with him this time.

I thought it'd be a good idea...

That way I don't have as much stuff to bring back for Christmas.

It's cold in here.

One great thing about college:

I CAN TURN MY HEAT UP IN MY ROOM REALLY HIGH & I'M NOT CHARGED EXTRA.

My Fantasy Future...

Mohkay.

We're just gonna get straight to the point here.

Plus... some fun visual aids!

Basically:

I want to be a 1950's housewife...

My husband and I will pride ourselves in the fact that we've found the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood to start a family....

I want to spend my days at home baking with the kids and talking on the phone with my friends...

I want my husband to walk in the door after a hard day's work and kiss me...

And then the kids will run into his arms and they'll all share a hug as he kisses them on the tops of their heads...

Presh?

I think so!

And, okay.

I'm not naive & think that's exactly what's going to happen.

I want to work.

I love working.

I love having my own money.

But, that's just a nice dream to have.

One where the economy isn't so bad that both the man & woman have to work just to make enough to get by...

I dunno.

I mean, it could still happen.

I'd totally wear the cute dresses they wear, too ;)

50's women knew what was up! :P

AND:

As much as I like the Stepford Wives...

I wouldn't want to be that manipulated.

I want to be able to have a say in things.

So, my idea is a mix of both of these:

The modernized version of a 50's wife...

Which, I think is a Stepford wife who isn't a robot & can still think and function for herself!

Am I crazy?

Perhaps...

Things are really starting to get hectic as the semester is coming to a close.

I'm heading home tomorrow though, so that'll be nice.

I can't wait to see my fam.

I actually like them all a whole bunch, so I look forward to seeing them :P
