Loser Like Me...

Sometimes it's more fun to be lame.
Why waste your time trying to impress people who don't actually care about you?
Just tell yourself that you don't care what other people think.
Deep down, we all look for approval from others, though.
No matter how much we try and say that we don't.
But you don't have to let what other's think bring you to act differently.

Nerd Day ;)

It's been a while...
Since I've given a timeline of events.

This week has been a breeze & a half!
It's OGT week...
(Ohio Graduation Test)...
& All the sophomores have to go to school at regular times to take 'em!
I don't have to be at school until 10:45!
It's kind of really nice :)

Things are going well.
I've only got about 45 days left of school.
That's just crazy.
Every time I talk about school being over, it's weird.
I've known this for so long...
It'll be weird for everything to change.
Especially having to meet all new people.

I just got a sudden urge to want to dance & sing in the rain.
Join me?

I took the writing portion of my placement test today.
I think I did pretty well with that.
I better have...
I haven't been spending my high school career writing & editing or anything.....
I like love writing.

I'm also starting to enjoy math a little bit more!
& When I say this, I don't just mean inequalities!
My teacher this year... where has he been the past four years?!
I hated math.
All kinds of math.
& Then Mr. Reeves showed up...and I'm actually enjoying things!
But, I mean... I like the class... I don't like the actual idea of solving things all that much... :P
But inequalities... They're okay.

Yeah... did you hear the "M" part?
Well, tomorrow, my friends & I are all getting a picture together.
Veron won a free picture seshh when she went to Walmart with Josh.
We're totally gonna be really cheesy.

This blog was a success.
I'm successfully tired & happy that I've been blogging more again! :)

Recycling Scholarship...

The above image was a piece I created for my graphic design class.
Our goal was to create a billboard that would help with recycling awareness.
I used the theme of newspapers.
The entire picture is like the pages of a newspaper.
The part I'm the most proud of:
The text in the columns is actual facts about recycling that I typed.
It was incredibly tedious work, but the end result was worth it.

I used the theme, "Recycling... It's not old news."
Everyone should recycle & help preserve our environment! :)

& If you click either of these links, it'll help me win a scholarship for college!
So, if you could take the time to "click"... that'd be SWELL! :)

Taking Chances...

What do you say to taking chances?

What do you say to jumping off the edge?

Never knowing if there's solid ground below...

Or a hand to hold...

Or hell to pay...

What do you say,

What do you say?

Don't know much about your life...

Don't know much about your world.

Sometimes you just need to take a chance.
Nothing is ever easy
But that shouldn't matter
... not if you plan on taking a chance for all the right reasons.

It might not make any sense.
It might seem crazy.
But live a little.

The feeling of success is such a fulfilling emotion.

It's not always defined specifically to one thing.
But it certainly isn't hard to find the best in something & consider them great.
I can find something great in anyone.
Everyone, no matter who they are, have great qualities.
You should never think down upon someone.
You really don't know them well enough if you can't see the greatness they hold inside.
You should never leave someone in the middle of an argument, or with anger.
You never know when your words together will be the last.
Stop taking things for granted.
No fight is worth it.
Love, Laughter & Happiness is worth so much more.

I wish more people would understand this concept.
But for now...
I'll work harder to achieve the greatness that loving & caring can bring.
Sometimes it takes something drastic to make others realize this.
Don't let that be you.
I've spent my life being a friend to everyone.
No matter who they might be.
And I know that it's helped people.
I encourage the rest of you to strive for an accepting heart.
Try accepting everyone.
No matter who they are!
I guarantee it will not only make you feel like a better person...
But it will make those around you feel better too!

Sometimes in our lives, we all have pain

We all have sorrow.

But if we are wise

We know that there's always tomorrow.

Lean on me

When you're not strong

And I'll be your friend.

I'll help you carry on.

For it won't be long 'til I'm gonna need somebody to lean on.

I'm feeling emotional.
